The Cleveland Browns tightened up the chin straps yesterday and they pushed the Jaguars around for the most part.  The Jaguars scored a TD on the last play of this game so the score doesn’t indicate how easy the Browns won this game.  Derek Anderson was in game manager mode as he completed 7 of 11 passes for 86 yards with 0 TD passes and 1 INT.  Jerome Harrison finished his year with a third solid game in a row as he carried the ball 33 times for 127 yards (3.8 ypc) with a TD run and he also caught 2 passes for 20 yards (10.0 avg).  Josh Cribbs was also outstanding running the ball with 6 carries for 47 yards (7.8 ypc) with a TD.  Chris Jennings pitched in with 38 yards rushing on 9 carries (4.2 ypc) in this game.  TEs Robert Royal (2 rec, 34 yards) and Evan Moore (2 rec, 18 yards) led the way for the Browns in the passing game yesterday.  The Browns finished up with 300 total yards on offense (214 rushing, 86 passing) in this game as they had possession of the ball for 32:58.

Safety Abram Elam (6 tackles, 1 pass defensed), LB Jason Trusnik (6 tackles, 1/2 sack, 2 passes defensed) and S Mike Adams (6 tackles, 1 pass defensed) led the way for the Browns on D yesterday.  CB Eric Wright also had a solid game with 5 tackles, 1 pass defensed and a INT.  Rookie linebacker Kaluka Maiava saved his best game for last with 4 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, 1.5 sacks and 2 QB hits.  The Jaguars finished up with 328 total yards on offense (131 rushing, 197 passing) in this game.  The Browns finish the season with a 5-11 record and on a 4-game winning streak.
