The Browns finished up the 2008 season with another pathetic performance in Pittsburgh last Sunday losing 31-0.  The Browns’ lone highlight of this game was when linebackers Willie McGinest and D’Qwell Jackson made a sandwich of Ben Roethlisberger who left the game on a stretcher with a concussion.  Jackson led the way for the Browns’ defense with 15 tackles in this game but it didn’t matter much in the end as the Steelers rushed for 176 yards on 35 (5.0 ypc) and they also threw for 193 yards.

The Browns didn’t even try to score in this football game as they finished with only 126 yards of offense.  Jamal Lewis was the only player on offense (besides the O-Line) that came to play against the Steelers.  He carried the ball 23 times for 94 yards (4.1 ypc).  Bruce Gradkowski really sucked in his first and hopefully last start in his career with the Cleveland Browns.  He only completed 5 of 16 passes for 18 yards with 2 interceptions (one of which was returned 32 yards for a TD by Steelers’ safety Tyrone Carter.  The Browns finished the 2008 season in last place in the AFC North with a 4-12 record.
