The Cleveland Browns acquire CB Travis Daniels from the Dolphins
The Browns have acquired CB Travis Daniels from the Miami Dolphins for a late round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. The 25-year old Daniels will likely be the nickel back for the Browns in 2008. He played in all 16 games (5 starts) for the Dolphins last season and he made 28 tackles, defensed 4 passes and he had 1 interception. Daniels has a nice upside so this was a solid move for the Browns who continue to play for right here and now as they keep moving future draft choices for veteran players. Daniels has now played in 44 games (25 starts) in his NFL career and he has made 125 tackles, has defensed 18 passes and he has 3 career interceptions. The Browns really need help in the secondary so this was a good move for them.
