Derek Anderson has been excellent at home so far this season for the Cleveland Browns but……
The Browns need Derek Anderson to play better on the road. The Browns have 6 games left on the road this season and only 4 home games left. Anderson has only completed 40 of 80 passes (50%) for 535 yards with 3 TD passes and 5 interceptions (58.1 QB Rating) in two road games. He has been outstanding in Cleveland Browns Stadium so far this year and the Browns need him to take that on the road with him. In Cleveland, Anderson has completed 61 of 104 passes (58.7%) for 961 yards with 11 TD passes and 3 interceptions (112.7 QB Rating). Overall, Anderson has been a huge success this season for the Browns as he is sporting a QB Rating of 88.9 on the season. If he keeps playing like he is right now the Browns will let Brady Quinn watch from the sideline for a while and that’s probably not a bad thing.

I have to disagree on this. Anderson has played well most of the season and he’s been a big key in the Browns 7-5 record. Quinn’s time will come…..just not yet.
