Gary Baxter makes a miraculous recovery for the Cleveland Browns

The Browns expect Gary Baxter to practice this coming up Monday and it is a flat out miracle.  Baxter jumped up to defend a pass last season and he landed wrong and tore both of his patellar tendons!  He will likely move from cornerback to safety where he will likely back up either Brodney Pool or Sean Jones.  Don’t be surprised if he beats out Pool if the competition is truly an open one.  Baxter only played in 3 games last year and he made 21 tackles, had 1 interception and defended 3 passes.  Baxter was brought over from the Ravens in one of GM Phil Savage’s first free agent signings and it hasn’t turned out too well yet.  Baxter has only played in 8 games in his 2 seasons with the Browns and he has 43 tackles, 3 interceptions, has defensed 3 passes and forced 1 fumble.
