LeCharles Bentley cleared to resume football activities for the Cleveland Browns

C/G LeCharles Bentley has been cleared to resume football activities after he passed a physical in New York yesterday.  Bentley had 4 surgeries last season after tearing the patellar tendon in his knee during the 2006 Training Camp.  He also caught a staph infection which kept him out even longer last year.  The Browns have to be doing backflips as Bentley was their key free agent signee of last season.  He will either compete with starting center Hank Fraley but it’s more likely that he will battle Kevin Shaffer and Seth McKinney for the right guard position.  Wherever Bentley plays….he will make the Browns a better football team.
