The Browns have moved quickly to improve their offensive line as they’ve signed Eric Steinbach to a 7 year, $49.5 million dollar contract.  It’s not clear as of right now whether Steinbach will be a guard or a tackle, but one thing is for certain….he will be an impact blocker.  He has a mean streak in the running game and he’s good at blocking in space.  He started in all 16 games last season for the Cincinnati Bengals.  Over his 4 year career, Steinbach has played in 63 games and made 62 starts.  This was a fantastic signing for the Cleveland Browns.

The Browns decided to lock up Hank Fraley for the next 4 seasons after he pretty much saved them after LeCharles Bentley went down last season.  He started all 16 games for the Browns last season and he’s a good start to building up the offensive line.  There could be more linemen on the way and soon for the Browns as Eric Steinbach is due in Cleveland later today to possibly sign with them.
