The Browns win the coin flip with the Buccaneers
The Browns won the coin flip with the Buccaneers at the NFL Combine and will draft #3 in the NFL Draft in April. Running back Adrian Peterson or OT Joe Thomas will be there for the Browns and that will be a good start into injecting some life into the awful offense the Browns have. I tend to think the Browns should draft Peterson and then draft all offensive and defensive linemen with the rest of their draft picks.

Naturally, it would be more exciting going into the season with a big time running back as opposed to a big time offensive lineman. Two of the most exciting moments since the Browns returned in 99 was William Green’s run vs Atl in 02 and Suggs run vs Cin in 03. I have to admit that I’ll be pulling for the Peterson pick as well and hopefully we’ll get more big runs like that.
I also have to throw in Ruben Droughns run against the Dolphins in 2005. The problem I have with Droughns is that he doesn’t have the speed to go the distance. Peterson though reminds me of LaDainian Tomlinson and the Browns can’t afford to pass up another talent like that.
Looks like one of those guys is doomed. At least they will get paid to dissappoint.
The Browns are on the rebound and they will not miss on this first round pick. Savage has done a good job in the early rounds since he’s gotten to Cleveland.
