Another year of Romeo Crennel…..yippee!

Romeo Crennel had the team regress in year #2 of his watch.  The team fell to 4-12 and Crennel often had the look of a deer in headlights on the sideline.  That’s not to mention when he puts his foot directly in his mouth like last week when he compared the Browns returning to the NFL in 1999 to the movie “We Are Marshall”.  I think that really shows how stupid and insensitive he is as a man.  Poor Browns fans will have to suffer another season with a pathetic head coach.  Crennel is 10-22 (31.3%) as head coach of the Browns.  Hopefully this season will go by fast and the Browns hire a real NFL head coach in 2008  (i.e. Bill Cowher).

The Browns decided to go into the season with 3 young QBs with limited NFL experience and they paid for it on the field.  Charlie Frye started 13 games this season and he completed 252 of 392 passes (64.3%) for 2,454 yards with 10 TD passes and 17 interceptions.  He finished with a 72.2 QB rating on the season.  Frye is a good running QB as he carried the ball 47 times for 215 yards (4.6 ypc) with 3 TD runs.  For his career, Frye has played in 20 games (18 starts) and has completed 350 of 556 passes (62.9%) for 3,456 yards with 14 TD passes and 22 interceptions.  He has compiled a career QB rating of 72.3.  Frye has carried the football 65 times in his career for 275 yards rushing (4.2 ypc) with 4 TD runs.

Derek Anderson got his first NFL action of his career this season and he was up and down.  He played in 5 games (3 starts) and completed 66 of 117 passes (56.4%) for 793 yards with 5 TDs and 8 interceptions for a QB rating of 63.1.  He also ran the ball 4 times for 47 yards (11.8 ypc).

Ken Dorsey only played in 1 game this season and threw one incomplete pass.  For his career, Dorsey has played in 12 games (10 starts) and has completed 171 of 317 passes (53.9%) for 1,712 yards with 8 TD passes and 11 interceptions.  Dorsey has a career QB rating of 63.5.  He also has carried the football 9 times for 18 yards (2.0 ypc).
