More Browns Luck
I am not one to believe in sports curses of any kind, but as a Browns fan, my beliefs are being tested…heavily.
Rumors are swirling that LeCharles Bentley may miss next season as well because a staph infection as caused some problems in his healing knee, and may require another surgery putting him back on the shelf.
I mean come on….no….seriously….COME ON!
Doesn’t that just suck the life out of you? Here we are at 4-10, just got over losing to the Ravens and going win less in our division for the first time in team history, and we have to hear news about our one offensive player with Pro Bowl experience may already be out for next season too?
Not to sound like a cry baby here, but WHY US!
Hopefully they are what they are – rumors. The Browns just cannot catch a break here recently, in fact, they are catching way more staph infections than breaks, and it’s things like this that really makes you wonder about curses.
I’m not saying there is….but I’m just saying.
The curse started when Art Modell bought the Browns and promptly fired the man the team was named after. Firing one of the greatest football coaches off all time shortly after you bought a team could be the reason the Browns are cursed. But shouldn’t that darn curse have left town with Art Modell and convert to a Ravens’ curse? I would think it would.
