Cleveland Browns vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers have lost four games in a row while the Cleveland Browns have lost 4 of their last 5 football games…..so something has to give this Sunday.

The Buccaneers will look to run the ball at the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.  The Browns are allowing 144.7 yards rushing per game and 4.6 yards per carry so far this season.  Cadillac Williams  (798 yards rushing, 3.5 ypc) has had a rough season so far, but he probably can’t wait to get to Cleveland.  Tim Rattay will start for the Bucs, but this is a move that should have been made a long time ago.  Rattay will be throwing deep to Joey Galloway (52 rec, 905 yards) and short to Ike Hilliard, Maurice Stovall and TE Alex Smith.

The Browns might decide to let Reuben Droughns get a lot of carries against the Bucs, who allow 121.0 yards rushing per game and 3.9 yards per carry so far this season.  The Bucs pass rush has been real bad and the result has been allowing opposing QBs to roll up a 97.3 QB rating.  If the Browns keep Derek Anderson clean and give him time to throw, he could have a huge game.  Braylon Edwards, Kellen Winslow and Joe Jurevicius could all have huge games this week.

For some reason I think this game will be real high scoring.  Rattay and Anderson could both have real good games against the below average pass defenses that will be on the field.  The QB that protects the football better will win this game.

I agree…I am anxious to see DA sling it around all day. What a nice Christmas present 300+ yards and 3+ TDs would be…
