The Browns gave a good fight in San Diego, but the Chargers were just too tough.  Charlie Frye completed 25 of 43 passes for 236 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT.  Frye also carried the ball 5 times for 27 yards (5.4 ypc), but he lost a fumble that was returned for a TD!  Reuben Droughns had a hard time with the Chargers defense, carrying the ball 19 times for 36 yards (1.9 ypc).  TE Kellen Winslow caught 11 passes for 78 yards.  Joe Jurevicius had his best game for the Browns, catching 3 passes for 76 yards.  Braylon Edwards had a good game too, catching 6 passes for 61 yards and a TD.

Rookie linebacker Kamerion Wimbley had 1.5 sacks, but the defense had a rough time.  The Chargers carried the ball 23 times for 190 yards (8.3 ypc)!  The Chargers completed 19 of 28 passes for 191 net yards passing.

The offense is looking better without Carthon around, now the Browns need to work on that defense.
