Browns look good in 20-16 win over Lions
A couple of this year’s draft picks really looked good on Friday Night. D’Qwell Jackson forced a fumble and intercepted a Dan Orlovsky pass, as the Browns defense looked really good. The Browns held the Lions to 84 yards rushing on 22 carries. The Lions also completed only 18 of 38 passes and netted 203 yards passing against the Browns.
The quarterbacks played alot better than they did against Philadelphia in the first game. Charlie Frye completed 8 of 11 passes for 41 yards with a TD and a pick. The TD was a five-yarder to Dennis Northcutt. Ken Dorsey looked a little better also completing 11 of 16 passes for 75 yards, but he threw another pick-off. Derek Anderson looked the sharpest of the QB’s hitting 7 of 9 passes for 83 yards and a TD. The TD was a 33 yarder to rookie James Harrison.
James Harrison put on another show Friday night. Harrison rushed 9 times for 53 yards, and he caught 6 passes for 54 yards and a TD. Harrison is pushing William Green for the #2 spot. Rueben Droughns was running hard and effective rushing 7 times for 44 yards. Lee Suggs, being showcased for a trade, rushed 8 times for 26 yards.
Kellen Winslow caught 3 passes for 37 yards.

Don’t get too excited. It’s just practice and, in reality, they are just a 4th place team.
